Bi-national Centers (BNCs) are autonomous institutions dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in English and to promoting mutual understanding between Brazil and the United States through cultural programs. Many BNCs also provide advising services to students interested in studying in the United States, as well as help to recruit for various exchange programs with the United States. BNCs are independent in their financial and administrative management. The U.S. Mission in Brazil maintains relationships with the following BNCs. If you do not see a BNC in your city but are interested in studying English, many BNCs now offer on-line courses as well as classroom instruction.
