    Warning:

For security reasons, visa applicants and American citizens are not allowed to enter the Embassy grounds with bags or electronic devices, with the exception of one small purse. The guard detachment cannot check bags, suitcases, or electronic devices, with the exception of cell phones. Cell phones will be held by the guards and returned to the owner upon exiting the Embassy grounds.

    Preventing Fraud:

Preventing fraud in the visa process is one of the U.S. Embassy Consular Section’s top priorities. Visa fraud forces applicants to pay more for visa services, therefore, it is in the interests of all visa applicants to help us prevent, detect and eliminate fraud.

If you would like to report abuse of a valid visa or of any abuse by either a travel agency or other sponsor of visa-related programs or services, we welcome information which can help ensure the integrity of the visa process.
